Venue Accessibility

For patrons who desire an easy and mobile pathway to and within the venue, The O’Shaughnessy has an accessible entrance ramp, accessible seating options as well as companion seating. We are able to offer one companion seat for each patron seated in our accessible seating area.

If you have an accessibility request, please contact the Ticket Office directly and we will be happy to seat you in a location that accommodates your needs.

New this year you may also purchase wheelchair accessible seating online as well as accessible seating with no stairs. If you have any questions, please contact the Ticket Office.

You may also click on the Purchase Accessible Seats link in each event listing which will route you to an accessible seating request form. Our Ticket Office staff will process these promptly and will follow up with you via phone to confirm details.

Please note: The O’Shaughnessy has no elevator to the balcony seating. Reaching the balcony requires climbing stairs, and often, many stairs. If your seats are in the balcony and you won’t be comfortable climbing stairs, please contact the Ticket Office for exchanges to our accessible main floor seating area.

The O’Shaughnessy has one ADA-accessible all-gender family restroom located in the lobby of the theater.

Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) & Sensory Ear Plugs

For patrons who would like to control the volume of their listening experience, assistive listening devices (ALDs) and sensory ear plugs are available upon request.

To check out an ALD, please visit the Ticket Office before the performance to request a free ALD. We’ll ask you to check out the device by trading your driver’s license which we will keep at the ticket office during the performance and return to you when you return the ALD after the performance. Events that are compatible with our ALDs are listed below.
