The O'Shaughnessy Ticket Office Information

The O’Shaughnessy’s Ticket Office is located in the northwest corner of The O’Shaughnessy’s lobby.

Food and beverages can be purchased at our concessions starting 30 minutes before start time and during intermission. These items can be enjoyed inside the theater. Please see event information to see if the event you are attending will offer concessions.

Performances at The O’Shaughnessy begin promptly on time. Latecomers will initially be seated near an aisle. During an appropriate break in the performance or during intermission, latecomers can move to their originally purchased seats.

We hold items for 60 days and then will dispose of them.

Recording devices are prohibited from the theater at all times. Out of respect for fellow audience members, we ask that all light-producing and noise-making devices are shut off before entering the theater.

Events at The O’Shaughnessy may be sold as Full House events, or Main Floor only. Some events include seating in the Orchestra Pit, some do not.

Please note that The O’Shaughnessy does not have an elevator. Please keep this in mind when purchasing tickets on the balcony level. If stairs are a challenge for anyone in you party, please contact the Ticket Office and we will gladly exchange your balcony seats to more accessible main floor seating.

Ticket Information & Policies

The O’Shaughnessy charges fees for various ticketing services. We strive to keep these fees as low as possible while maintaining service.

  • Online Service Fee: Tickets purchased online are subject to a per ticket fee of $2.75 that goes directly to our ticket service provider.
  • Credit Card Processing Fee: Tickets purchased using a credit card require a 3% processing fee for the convenience of paying by credit card. You can get around this fee by paying for tickets with cash or check in person at the Ticket Office.

The O’Shaughnessy requires that everyone entering the theater must have a ticket – this includes toddlers, and infants, even if they will sit on a parent’s lap. That said, many shows at The O’Shaughnessy are not designed for young audiences; if you have a question about whether or not a show is appropriate for your child, please call the Ticket Office.

Generally speaking, children ages five and up tend to enjoy our performances more than younger viewers, but it is of course up to the parents/guardians.

In general, tickets are sold with a “No Refunds, No Exchanges” policy. The O’Shaughnessy hosts many rental clients who retain their own ticket sales, and we are not authorized to process refunds on their behalf. For The O’Shaughnessy’s Presented Series, we are happy to offer credit to a future Presents event if you’re unable to make it to your original performance. Please call the Ticket Office at least 24 hours prior to the event.

For Other Exchanges: If the tickets you are exchanging into are a higher price than your original seat, you will be responsible to pay the difference when completing the exchange.

Most shows at The O’Shaughnessy offer a $5 ticket option for all current St. Kate’s students.

Can I use my Dance Cohort Pass for multiple tickets to the same performance?

No. The Cohort Pass is good for one single ticket to each of the four productions.  

Can I use my Dance Cohort Pass for tickets to the Presented Season shows?

No. The Cohort Pass is good for one ticket to each of the four Dance Cohort productions. If you are looking to add Presented Season tickets as well, we invite you to either purchase single tickets for those shows or purchase a Pick Six Subscription, which can be used across the Presented Series and Dance Cohort Series. 

Is the Cohort Pass refundable?

All Cohort Pass sales are final and non-refundable. Please contact the Ticket Office if you have any questions. 

Can I give my subscription tickets to someone else?

Yes. If you are unable to use your subscription ticket to an individual performance, we invite you to pass along that ticket to a friend or family member. 

If I want additional single tickets to a performance, how do I purchase them?

If you’re looking to add additional single tickets to your set of seats partially booked with a Cohort Pass, you may purchase individual tickets online, or call the Ticket Office to request additional single seats next to your originally booked Cohort Pass ticket (subject to availability).

Can I exchange tickets from one performance to another?

Yes! Subject to availability, since some of our Dance Cohort events have more than one performance, we are happy to exchange tickets from one performance date/time to another (as long as it’s the same production). We encourage all exchanges to be made with at least 48 hours advance notice. Please contact the Ticket Office at 651-690-6700 with any exchange requests. (Please note, we will soon be offering patrons the ability to exchange their tickets online. We’ll reach out to subscribers with more information about online exchanges as soon as this feature becomes available.)

Can I use my Pick 6 Subscription for multiple tickets to the same performance?

No. The Pick 6 Subscription is good for one single ticket to six different performances. 

Are your subscriptions refundable?

All subscription sales are final and non-refundable. Please contact the Ticket Office if you have any questions. 

Can I purchase a subscription, but choose specific shows later on?

No. Unfortunately, you will be prompted to pick all six shows at the time of initial purchase. Please contact the Ticket Office if you have any questions regarding exchanging your tickets to a different performance.

Can I give my subscription tickets to someone else?

Yes. If you are unable to use your subscription ticket to an individual performance, we invite you to pass along that ticket to a friend or family member. 

If I want additional single tickets to a performance, how do I purchase them?

If you’re looking to add additional tickets to one of your shows, you can purchase individual tickets online, or call the Ticket Office to request additional single seats next to your initially booked Subscription ticket.

Can I exchange tickets from one performance to another?

Yes. Subject to availability, we can exchange tickets from one Presents performance to another. However, exchanges must be made 48 hours before curtain of your originally scheduled ticket. Please contact the Ticket Office at 651-690-6700 with any exchange requests. (Please note, we will soon be offering patrons the ability to exchange their tickets online. We’ll reach out to subscribers with more information about online exchanges as soon as this feature becomes available.)

If you selected “Print at Home or Mobile Tickets” you will receive your tickets via email from Etix 72 hours before your scheduled performance. This practice helps avoid third party ticket scams.

If you selected Will Call delivery, your tickets can be picked at the Ticket Office. Our hours are 12 – 4 Tuesday though Friday and 2 hours before showtime on performance days. If you have further questions, feel free to call the Ticket Office at 651-690-6700.

Most events at The O’Shaughnessy require tickets. Prices and policies are set by the presenting organization or promoter. Discounts are offered at the discretion of the presenter.

The O’Shaughnessy Presents Single Ticket Pricing:

  • Regular single ticket price: $33
  • Non-St. Kate’s Students and Children: $15
  • St. Kate’s Students: $5
  • St Kate’s Alumni, Faculty and Staff: 25% off regular single tickets.
    • Contact our ticket office to use this discount or use the discount code shared via campus channels.
