Free parking on campus in The O’Shaughnessy lot

The O’Shaughnessy is proud to offer free parking. To access our O’Shaughnessy parking lot, enter St. Catherine University through Gate #4 from Fairview Avenue and park in The O’Shaughnessy lot. Follow the diagonal path (video tutorial below) to the tunnel between The O’Shaughnessy and the Music Building to get to the front entrance.

If The O’Shaughnessy lot is full, park anywhere on campus. “Permit Required” signs are not applicable during performances.

Ticket Office parking

If you’re planning to stop by the Ticket Office in person, we do offer weekday parking (limited to fifteen minutes) near the north end of the building via the Gate #3 entrance, past the Frey Theater. The Ticket Office is located inside the lobby next to the left entrance. Our Ticket Office hours are Tuesday – Friday from 12-4.

Accessible parking for show attendance 

• Enter campus through Gate #3 from Randolph Avenue
• Take a hard right – you will find accessible parking just south of Randolph Avenue
• Enter The O’Shaughnessy via the accessible entrance ramp located on the north end of the building
• Our other accessible entrance is at the south end of the building. Continue driving straight from the Gate #3 entrance and find accessible parking on the left near the stop sign. Once you have parked, please proceed to the Music Hall (which is connected to The O’Shaughnessy) and under the “tunnel.” You will then find a curved U-shaped ramp on your right that leads to an accessible entrance on the south end of the building.

Drop off and then locate accessible parking

For guest drop-off, please come early and enter Gate #3 off of Randolph Avenue. Drive straight until you reach the stop sign and the overpass sidewalk that leads under the Music Hall, on your right. Feel free to park briefly here to transfer the patron(s).

You may not leave your vehicle here longer than it takes to get patron(s) inside, so please move your vehicle as soon as you can. There is reserved Accessible Parking nearby if you have a permit, otherwise you will need to proceed to the main O’Shaughnessy parking lot.

There is a metal bike rack beneath the underpass leading to the quad entrance on your way to the O’Shaughnessy front doors. 

The nearest bus stops to the O’Shaughnessy are 

• The intersection of Randolph Ave and Kenneth St.
• The intersection of Cleveland Ave. and Randolph Ave. 

There are several Metro Transit bus routes with stops near The O’Shaughnessy. To find the best route, go to www.metrotransit.org and plan your trip. Transportation may also be scheduled through Metro Mobility.
