The purpose is to bring together those interested and invested in healthcare simulation activities to discuss challenges, share experiences and resources, coordinate resources, and brainstorm solutions. The Simulation Summit will be coordinated similarly to a World Café and Intensive Workshops to support the community of simulationists.
Objectives:
Discuss solutions to three simulation challenges with regional simulationists during World Cafe sessions.
Apply best practices for simulation concepts during one intensive session.
Verbalize the importance of standardizing simulation professional roles and formal recognition by official labor organizations.
The Simulation Summit attendees are from academic and hospital-based programs that work with all health professional disciplines.
