Melissa Doman, MA is an Organizational Psychologist, former Clinical Mental Health Therapist, and the founder of The Workplace Mental Health Method™. She is the author of Cornered Office: Why We Need to Talk About Leadership Mental Health and Yes,You Can Talk About Mental Health at Work (Here’s Why and How To Do It Really Well), two practical, research-backed books that help companies build healthier, more communicative workplaces.

Melissa has been featured as a subject matter expert speaker at SXSW and in editorial features for CNN, Vogue, NPR, the BBC, CNBC, Fast Company, Inc., and LinkedIn’s 2022 Top 10 Voices for Mental Health and Big Ideas 2023 List. She works with companies across industries around the globe, including Google, Etsy, the Orlando City Soccer Club, Dow Jones, Microsoft, Estée Lauder, Salesforce, and more. She uses her unique hybrid background in both clinical and organizational psychology to translate complex ideas into simple, actionable strategies that equip companies, leaders, and employees with the skills they need to talk about mental health at work, strengthen communication, and improve team collaboration.

At this event, Melissa will lead an interactive 1.5-hour keynote on why leadership mental health is important and how leaders can personalize the way they manage their own mental health. The session will focus on practical tools for navigating mental health and stress as a leader in today’s workplace. Following the keynote, she will host a book signing. Attendees are encouraged to pre order Melissa’s book in advance so they can read it prior to the event and come prepared to engage more deeply with the content discussed in her interactive keynote.
